They’re back!
Jake and Dodger are at it again,
accompanied by their boss, the archangel Azrael.

I am so excited, I can hardly stand it. Once again, Nicki Forde Graphics Design has come up with a cover that does exactly what I wanted it to do. It provides a great-looking image that clearly links the second novella in my Emissary series with the first one. And it does this by putting Jake’s big, red-and-white semi front and center, angel wings and all, but with a completely different background.

In The Emissary 2: To Love Somebody, Jake and Dodger travel both coasts of Florida, day and night, working their emissarial magic wherever they find souls in trouble. For me, the palm fronds over the truck, the ocean in the background, and the moon shining down are perfect.

I can’t give you an exact release date for The Emissary 2: To Love Somebody yet, as I still have a few more tiny odds and ends to finish up, including the blurb. But I’m 99.9% sure it will be available within a week or two, and I’ll have more to share with you then. In the meantime, what do you think?

    Marcia is all over the web today with this gorgeous cover. I love seeing it splashed throughout the blogosphere.
    I read the first Emissary novella and am eagerly looking forward to the release of Emissary 2. Congrats to Marcia!

      Thanks so much, Jacquie! So glad you like the cover, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on The Emissary 1 and 2, if you get a chance to read them. The first is already out in eBook format, and this one will follow shortly. After #3 is finished, I’ll put them together in a print book. The eBooks can be read in an evening, only being slightly over 100 pages, so just right for a busy schedule, I think. Hope you’ll give them a try! 🙂 ❤

        Somehow, I’ve never done a book launch with any of my novels. I just introduced them on my own blog, FB page, and on Twitter, and went with what happened. I’ve always sold books, but I’m pretty sure some decent online marketing would sell more, so that’s my goal.

        Now, I’m much better at marketing face to face. I do a lot of local events (2 to 3 a month, and I’m already scheduled for 23 in 2019), so I market at these, and have built a great local readership as a result. That’s been very helpful. But I realized it was time to do more marketing online, and I asked several friends about it. A one-day “cover reveal blitz” was suggested, and it fit my schedule pretty well, so. Voila. Here you are part of it all, Julie, much to my thanks! And I had responded to more 150 comments yesterday, so keeping up is definitely problematic. When I release the book (SOON), I’m probably going to share it on far fewer blogs, because I’ll want to tweak each post so it’s slightly different, and that’s a lot of time, too.

        With my next novel release, I will build in more time for this kind of stuff, and hopefully, I’ll be better at it by then. 😀 I do, most sincerely, appreciate your helping me share my new cover. Thanks from the bottom of my heart! 🙂 ❤
